ChatAndGo is designed to keep your public identity separate from your private conversations.

What we collect

  • Your chosen user ID, which is the public username shown to other people.
  • Your email address for account and security purposes. It is never shown as your public identity.
  • Optional profile information such as your display name, avatar, age, location, sex, summary and bio.
  • Service information needed to provide rooms, conversations, presence, moderation and account security.

How we use it

We use this information to operate ChatAndGo, keep accounts secure, show the public profile you choose to share, show online activity, deliver messages and respond to reports or moderation requests.

We do not sell your personal information or use your private conversations to create public profiles.

Your conversations

Public rooms are live conversations. ChatAndGo does not provide a permanent server-side room history; when you join a room, you see activity from that point onward.

Direct conversation history is kept in your browser so that your device remains the source of that history. The service may temporarily hold protected delivery data until the recipient confirms receipt, but it is not intended to be a permanent message archive.

Direct conversations and conversation photos use end-to-end protection. Content is protected on your device before it is sent, and only the intended participants can turn it back into readable content. ChatAndGo transports the protected content but does not use readable private messages or conversation photos as public profile information.

Conversation photos are handled as private attachments and are retained only as needed for delivery. ChatAndGo does not publish private conversation content.

Pictures and profiles

Photos shared in a direct conversation receive the same end-to-end protection as the conversation and are not public uploads. Profile avatars are different: they are part of your public profile, so other users who can view that profile may see them. We store profile images through protected object storage and do not expose storage credentials or internal storage paths.

Cookies and local storage

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and protect account actions. Your browser may also keep conversation data and settings locally. Clearing this site's cookies or local data can sign you out and permanently remove the conversation history stored on that device.

Who can see your information

Your user ID and the profile fields you choose to complete may be visible to other users. Your email address is kept for internal account use and is not rendered in public profiles, discovery, conversations or moderation views.

We may use hosting, database, real-time messaging and object-storage providers to run the service. They process data only as needed to provide that infrastructure.

Your choices

  • Choose which profile fields to complete and update them from your profile.
  • Clear local browser data when you want to remove conversation history from a device.
  • Use the available block and report controls to manage interactions.
  • Contact the service operator with questions or requests about your account data.
